I called in desperation. Our tenant was sweltering. And it was just before the 4th of July holiday. Another company couldn't come out for 5 days, but Jerry (who answered the phone himself) said he could come out the very next day. He and his associate identified the problem, fixed it, checked the other unit too, and it was at a very reasonable price too. He was incredibly kind on the phone and in person. Can't recommend enough! Thank you Jerry!

Stevie and Jerry were able to fit us in when our furnace failed at the worst possible time. Not only were they able to diagnose the faulty component where others could not, they also fixed it (knock on wood) and located the out of production parts for it, giving us some needed flexibility before we replace our existing mediocre equipment. I so am lucky to have had the privilege of handing them my money and I sincerely hope they charge more for their services going forward.

I called Jerry after a recommendation from Jacob's because they were really backed up with bookings. Jerry actually answered unlike all other companies. I explained that another company had come out the previous day and said best case scenario would be a little more than $2000 I paid them 119 for a diagnostic. Jerry said that what I described to him didn't make sense and that he would send someone out tomorrow. $592 later my unit works perfectly. Also, the previous company was going to charge $188 per lb for refrigerant while Jerry was charging $70lb for the same. Stevie was a wonderful technician and very patient explaining what she was doing and why. I obviously highly recommend this company and they will get my families business for life. 2 years later my a/c stopped blowing cool air. Called Jerry and they came out the next day. Bad news for me, condenser was frozen up and needs to be replaced. 2k for the condenser plus labor. They asked if the unit was still under warranty and I said I didn't know. The next day they called and said they have great news. They found out that the condenser was still under warranty and I only had to pay for the install. After they arrived for the install I asked Tony if they could service my furnace while they were here. They said of course. 4 1/2 hours later I received a installed condenser, recharged coolant system and a freshly tuned furnace for under 1k. 5 more stars for Jerry and his crew!

I called and spoke to Jerry who scheduled an appointment a week out, which was to be expected during the busy season. Their technician, Tony, showed up right on time. He helped me diagnose a problem with my mini-split heat pump. He was knowledgeable and friendly and got my system going. I thought their prices were quite reasonable as well. What more could one ask for?

Although I never met him in person, Jerry was amazing to work with. I had a "challenging" mini-split install, and wanted to make sure I had done the prep correctly. He was patient, interested, and helpful. Tony , who had to build on my prep work, was completely professional, did great work, and was patient with all my questions. Not just good contractors, good people. Thanks all!

I found Jerry (The Owner) to be very knowledgeable as well as good to explain, and diagnose the problem. He made several trips by appointment and was always on time. Had to replace the A/C unit with a new heat pump.
I was very please with his timely service and the quality of the installation.
It was a pleasure to find a reputable contractor, and would highly recommend him in the future.
Update, I did give him a referral and they were very pleased with his service. A competitor gave them a $7000 price and said they needed a new A/C and heater replacement. Jerry came out and charged the unit, and that was all they needed. Again a very reputable business owner. You can trust his recommendations.

I agree with all the other 5 Star reviews. Jerry goes out of his way to take care of your emergencies and regular services. He and his employee's are personable, professional and can be trusted to do the work that needs to be done at a "more" than fair price. You never have to question that. You will never be taken advantage of by Northwest Heating and Cooling. We trust Jerry and his company to always do right by his customers we'll never call anyone but this company for HVAC work

My heat pump gave out right in the middle of July. A friend of mine had a great experience with NW Heating and Cooling so despite the fact I had to wait a week for an appointment, I knew they were the company I wanted to use. Very punctual at 8am Monday morning and one hour later I was back in business for less than $300.00. I can't say enough about NW Heating and Cooling and would without question use them again.

Our air conditioner packed up on an extremely hot day here in Beaverton - on a Sunday. I called the next day, and later on that same day, Stevie came around to assess the problem and fix it. She was not only friendly and pleasant to talk to, but also very competent. I recommend this company.

Wow! Excellent Service. Air conditioner not working first hot day in Portland and all of the Service companies booked out 1-2 weeks, but then I found NW Heating and Cooling, read the reviews and gave them a call. Jerry answered- he too was booked out a week, but managed to squeeze us in 2 days later and the service was outstanding. Stevie was the technician. She called 30 min prior to arrival, arrived on time, was extremely efficient, polite and pleasant. She clearly explained the problem and stated she would need to go to the local parts store for the specific part she needed. She left, returned within 15 minutes and fixed the problem. She impressed me so much with her knowledge and expertise that going forward NW Heating and Cooling will be our go to company for A/C needs. Thank you Stevie.

Our furnace stopped working on the coldest night of the year. I called NW Heating at 6am and got a call back fairly quickly. Jerry stopped by my place and had the repair done and heat back on in less than 15 minutes. The price was very, very fair - probably less than what other companies would have charged given the timing and situation. It is so uncommon to find a company that is so professional, responsive and has such quality employees. NW Heating and Cooling is by far the best experience I’ve ever had with any home systems work. One week before Beaverton is seeing savage record high temps, our AC died. I panicked and called Jerry from NW Heating & Cooling. He walked me through diagnosis, then sent a person, Stevie (who was awesome), out to check the unit. It was cooked, but given the weather report these folks ordered a unit out of Yakima, then came out on a Saturday and got the new unit installed. Tony and Sinque were so great. Not sure how these guys get such amazing employees, but everyone was so great. I will never go anywhere else for our heating and cooling problems. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Jerry always picks up the phone or calls back immediately. He tried everyting to help me save money on my furnace repair. He came and repaired it within an hour or so after I called him on the 31st of December. His fee is better than reasonable. He is very sincere, honest and professional. I highly highly recommend him.

Had another place come out to diagnose my lack of heat (Right Now Home Services), who quoted me $3,600 for repairs and a two week wait for a needed part, OR I could go through them and pay $7,200 for a new furnace. Fortunately I was smart enough to get a second opinion, and my sister referred me to Jerry at Northwest Heating & Cooling. Less than 30 minutes later, and less than $100, my heat was working again. Never calling anyone else again! So very happy. And warm now too. :)

Woke up this morning to a very cold house. Called 3 places and Jerry at Northwest Heating and Cooling worked me into his busy schedule. He knew what was wrong with the furnace and got the heat back on right away for the short term. He promised to be out with another needed component for a long term fix within 3 days. Great company! Didn't try to over sell me on things I didn't need. My AC unit went out, Tony came out, was friendly & professional. He was able to diagnosis the problem and had my AC unit up and running in 15 minutes. Jerry the owner seemed very friendly as well when we spoke on the phone. I would recommended them as I respect honest contractors who don't try to just sell you on things you don't need.

We came home last night to discover we had no heat, on the coldest night so far this season. Since we have only lived in Oregon for 7 months, we did not have a relationship with an HVAC company. We called several heating and cooling places and those who called back told us probably Monday (it was Wednesday night). Thursday morning I reached Jerry at Northwest and he said he would try his best to get someone out that day. At 2:00 John arrived and had us going in no time. He was very professional and personable. Northwest will be getting our business in the future.

We were in a pinch, with 100 degree days coming, our AC stopped working. They were able to squeeze us in with only a day notice!!! And fixed our system. Incredible service! Very honest, knowledgeable team and reasonable pricing! Absolutely recommend!!

These guys were great! Had a bad experience with Jacobs heating way overcharging and trying to sell me on a service plan (you can check out that in my other reviews). NW Heating & Cooling came out and finished the job with very fair prices and friendly service.

Jerry is the best. He fixed our furnace for next to nothing last spring when we thought it was going out. We called him today and regardless to this being a short/holiday week he made it by TODAY to help troubleshoot our old heat furnace. Turns out it was a thermostat problem, which he fixed and then showed me how to replace if it breaks again. He also did a once over on the furnce just to make sure nothing else was wrong. Also, SO CHEAP! Seriously, these guys are the best, hands down. Don't waste your time with ANYONE ELSE, call NW Heating and Cooling.

I called around Hillsboro and Jacobs, none of them could touch there prices. Also Jerry helped me and was super friendly. He was able to fix my problem over the phone. I need to clean my upstairs air flow vent. Ask for Jerry if you call them it made my expariance amazing. We live in Hillsboro and they were willing to drive out here to help us.
